Moses vs Pharaoh’s magicians- an essential principle to becoming a deliverer and not one of Pharaoh’s magician’s.

Recently the Lord began speaking to me about ministry leaders that have become Pharaoh’s magicians. Representing the image of another Jesus, these magicians are wielding the power of God in the realm of Pharaoh’s rule- the carnal realm of man. In doing so, they have perverted the power and authority of Jesus because they’re using it before God’s appointed time and designated place (the Kingdom realm). These magicians have not walked through the steps necessary to cleanse the soul, enabling them to carry the Father's power and authority in Christ-like character. The power and authority of God moving through a human must come out of the waters of John the Baptizer- immersion in the school of thought of the Kingdom. With the Kingdom age upon us, thwarting this essential step disqualifies the one carrying the power and places them in opposition to God and His Kingdom. What God worked with the past decade, He is in the process of handing over to Pharaoh in this decade. When the new comes, the old is done away with. There must be a transition into the new.

To those wielding supernatural power, stop! Take a step back, repent and be baptized! Allow the information of the Kingdom to submerge you in the realm of the Kingdom and wait for God to release you as a conduit of His power and authority. Lay down your power and authority. Give it back to the ONE who alone possesses all power and authority. Pick up the discipline of seeking first the Kingdom and wait for God’s timing to converge with God’s ways.

To be baptized into the school of thought of the Trinity is to enter the process of being submerged in another world. Coming out of the immersion of seeking first the Kingdom, you remain in the world you are submerged in- the Kingdom of Jesus on earth. Engaging in the process of a disciple of the Kingdom- seeking first the Kingdom- immerses you in the process of entering the Kingdom realm. This lifts you into the land where all pure and righteous power and authority resides.

Moses means “to be drawn out of water.” In our generation, the difference between Pharaoh’s magicians and the deliverer’s God is raising up is this; the Moses’ of our generation will be drawn out of the waters of immersion into Jesus’s highest priority for mankind- seeking first the Kingdom. This immersion brings about submersion in the realm of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. God’s emerging deliverer’s will have gone through this essential step, preparing them to properly and effectively become conduit’s for His power and authority. Pharaoh’s magicians want power and authority without the divine order in which it’s meant to be carried. These one-time servants of Jesus tasted of the powers of the age to come by skipping an essential step- having power and authority “added to you” through the process of seeking first the Kingdom. These one-time partial representatives of Jesus believe they are using the power “in Jesus name” but in fact are using the power in Pharaoh’s character, building their own kingdom in the carnal realm of man- the kingdom of darkness.

The name “Moses” is a picture of disciples of Jesus- they are the deliverer’s who are confronted, and confront Pharaoh and his magicians, bringing freedom to God’s people. In doing so, these deliverer’s gather as remnant’s that see God’s heavenly city bring freedom from the carnal rule of man’s culture. In our generation, the difference between Moses and Pharaoh’s magicians is the magicians have taken power and authority before being drawn out of the water. Instead of having Jesus’s power and authority “added to you” through the process of seeking first the Kingdom, they took it. No human soul can properly carry divine power and authority without going through the process of cleansing set forth by the Lord. We step into this divine process by starting, and continuing in the discipline of seeking first the Kingdom. May we all shift into this discipline now, especially leaders within the Body of Christ.

In scripture Moses was a prophetic voice for the Lord, and His lawgiver on earth. God is once again rising up a remnant who will be His mouthpiece and lawgiver on earth. This remnant must not take any shortcuts in Jesus’s preparatory process. We must enter the baptismal waters of seeking first the Kingdom, becoming submerged in the realm where Jesus abides. As we are drawn out of the waters of seeking first the Kingdom, then “all these things,” including power and authority, will be added to us. Then Jesus will have a mouthpiece from which to speak and enact the laws of the culture of His Kingdom on earth, and we will begin the work of transforming the earth back into the Kingdom realm of Heaven.

If you’re using power and authority of any kind and its helping to sustain your ministry in any way, throw it down! Throw down your staff and wait for God to ask you to pick His up. Stop releasing power and begin seeking first the Kingdom. I’m not asking you to stop praying for people and if healing comes, praise God! I’m asking you who use power and authority as a platform for your ministry to stop it! All power and authority from Jesus’s Kingdom flows from within the confines of seeking first the Kingdom. If our power and authority is not flowing from there, then it’s flowing from Pharaoh’s world and you have become his magicians. The dawn of the Kingdom age has brought about this shift. May we humble ourselves under the Mighty hand of God, lay down our self-efforts to bear His image, and wait for Him to lift us up.
