"Come up here!" Repent, for the Kingdom of God is in you, in front of you!
It’s not possible for a caterpillar to be transformed without first leaving his world. Before metamorphosis begins, the caterpillar must leave his world by entering another; then and only then does the transformation process begin. The new world is known as the chrysalis- the realm of transformation and new life. The following is a written treatise, inviting the eternal Chrysalis into humanities transformational process. The eternal chrysalis is the place where metamorphosis works its transformational steps. The eternal chrysalis is the place where the old man dies and the new man emerges in transfigured likeness to Chrsit.
“And Jesus was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.” Matthew 17:2
The transformation process Jesus has prepared for His Creation guides us into the place where our new, transfigured nature is formed. This new nature of us in Christ and Christ in us grows into formation as we are awakened in the new world of His Kingdom within us. Our new nature “is renewed in knowledge that is in the image of Him that created Him.” (Colossians 3:10) This knowledge is received through our new relationship with Christ in His Kingdom within us. This is the place where we receive “the knowledge that is in His image.” Outside of our new world- His Kingdom- we receive the same knowledge but it becomes perverted due to our receiving it with our old, carnal mind. His knowledge loses the substance that can only be received within His Kingdom by the renewed mind. The new man can only receive the new nature, which comes to us through intimate relationship, as we walk and talk with the Living Christ in His Kingdom within us. This is the secret place reserved for the transformation process- the place of the maturing of the future manifested sons of God. The Kingdom within! The eternal chrysalis! The Temple of the Living Christ! The Tent of meeting! The Holy of Holies, inner court, and outer court! The place where we meet The High and lifted up ONE! The empathic, all loving, all forgiving, gentle Brother who is our Friend, Lord, and King!
All of humanity will enter the process of metamorphasis from the old man to the transfigured nature of the new man. Sooner or later all humanity will be given the privilege of meeting and walking with the Living Messiah in the eternal chrysalis- the Kingdom realm of Heaven on earth! This transformational walk brings to life a place where our relationship with Jesus yields transformation that conforms us into the same transfigured image of Jesus- the image of the Living, resurrected Christ. Most of humanity has yet to turn around and begin this walk back home. We are yet caterpillars unawares of the place of the chrysalis. This ignorance is due primarily because Jesus’s church lost the pathway and process given to us by Jesus. The pathway and process to further what He began 2000 years ago. Jesus needs His disciples once again on earth. He needs His followers that allow Him to make them into disciples in order that He might, through them, restart His restoration project His way. Jesus is waiting for His disciples to come alive once again on the earth. Disciples of Jesus walking the earth in the Kingdom realm of Heaven on earth....within! Disciples who are in the chrysalis of metamorphosis, awaiting the manifestation of their new identity. The new identity will reignite His mighty mission! A mission given to Jesus by the Father for the purpose of the restoration of all things!
According to Acts 3, and many other Scripture passages, you can rest assured transformation will happen to us all at some point; and you can rest assured that disciples- Jesus’s transformation starters- are awakening upon the earth once again. They are awakening in this decade and will reach maturity in their new identity such that they will become ministers in the realm of the eternal chrysalis.
“That times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you. Heaven must take Him in until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God announced long ago through His holy prophets.” Acts 3:20,21
Jesus has made the way for us to not only turn around and begin our transformational walk home, He has invited us to engage in the process in very specific ways. Jesus came for us 2000 years ago. He came to return us to the Father’s Promised Land- humanities inheritance- the Kingdom realm of Heaven on earth. He’s waiting for us to enter His prescribed process. His narrow, grace filled process that leads us home. His longing to meet you where He’s at is predicated on your willingness to enter the mystery of His path. That leap of faith begins with simple obedience to His highest priority; seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. This single act carries transformational changes that no man has yet to conceive or perceive. Only by receiving from our new home in Heavenly places within do we experience, perceive, and conceive transformation. Seeking first the Kingdom is equivalent to the caterpillar making its way into the chrysalis. It’s the “carrying THE cross” season that enables us to enter the eternal place of metamorphosis- the Kingdom realm of Heaven on earth.
To become a disciple of Jesus is to walk the path that leads to life in His Kingdom’s realm within. A life that begins in the interior world of Christ in us. Jesus meeting us in His Kingdom- His Kingdom that is within us. This meeting place begins new life with Him in the secret place of the interior world of His matchless, unshakable Kingdom. Do you not know beloved that your body is the Temple of the Living Christ! Do you not know that your body is the secret place of the Most high and your greatest delight is to discover your identity in Christ, in His world- in His Living Temple within you?! Do not give another thought to the Kingdom outside of yourself until you have reached a level of union with Christ in His Kingdom within where He and He alone enlightens you to the expanse of His eternal Kingdom. Remain at rest within. Perceive reality out from your seated place within. Explore Christ’s Temple with Him. Let Him take you places within that bring healing, friendship growth, forgiveness, enlightenment, and transformation…one intimate moment at a time. Wait on the Lord in quiet assurance that it’s the Father’s good pleasure to give you His Kingdom- one intimate, personal encounter with the Living Christ at a time. Let Him fill your consciousness with the space and time that is full of His jubilant and triumphant Kingdom. As you remain content living a quiet and peaceable life with your Friend, Lord, and Older Brother in His Kingdom, rest assured that His transforming you will bring to life His Kingdom that is within the outside space in time. Be mindful that you have been born again into Jesus’s realm of consciousness. In His world it is Christ and Christ alone who brings consciousness to your personal experience. For you to run after anything in His world is to run into idolatry and the dangers of building your own kingdom.
In order for transformation to begin the way of Jesus we must first enter the chrysalis- the caterpillar’s new home. An interior world where the old you dies off and the new you emerges. The new you, the born again you that takes shape once you’re nestled securely in the chrysalis- the interior world of the Kingdom of Heaven within. You cannot enter the transformational process without first leaving your world. You must leave the world your familiar with and enter the new world of the Kingdom within. Jesus calls this repentance and invites His Ecclesia to begin repenting. Seeking first the Kingdom is the vehicle that moves you into repenting. Seeking first the Kingdom is the vehicle that brings awakening to the renewed mind, opening conscious experience in the Kingdom of Jesus within.
Chris Wark brilliantly described the transformation process of a caterpillar in the following manner. As you read, meditate on the parallels between the caterpillar’s process of transformation and ours. “In order for a caterpillar to become a butterfly, it must withdraw from the world into a different world known as the chrysalis. Inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar’s body breaks down into a liquid soup of imaginal cells, which rearrange themselves and solidify into a completely new body with different organs, legs, antennae, and wings.”
Just like the caterpillar, we need to enter the place of metamorphosis- the realm created for us....the realm of the New Creation. This is the place where we meet our ideal conditions for metamorphosis-Jesus in His Kingdom with us... within.
A chrysalis is a place of protection. A chrysalis is a place that becomes a protective covering, and a sheltered state of being and growth. The chrysalis is the designated place for our transformation. I have found the “secret place of the Most high” to be a synonym for the chrysalis of the Kingdom within- the interior world of consciousness growth in Jesus’s Kingdom. Entering this chrysalis begins a restful season of metamorphosis- the transformational processes where your old man breaks down as the new you emerges in the form of “a liquid soup of imaginal cells.” These cells are rearranged through the relational transactions that take place with Christ Jesus in His Kingdom’s environment- the Chrysalis of the Caring Christ. Each relational moment grows not only renewed mind patterns (consciousness in the interior world of His Kingdom) but strengthens our onion with Christ in His Kingdom. This process awakens consciousness in the same manner that an infant grows consciousness as they transition from the womb, into the new world of fallen man.
Scripture makes it clear that we cannot enter our union with Christ experientially and practically without first entering His realm, becoming one with Him, His creation, and His consciousness. This realm is the Promised Land of the Kingdom realm of Heaven on earth- the eternal chrysalis of the Caring Christ. We are born again in this land through the renewing of our minds as we enter our identity as a student seeking first His Kingdom. This is the beginning of experiencing eternal life...and this is eternal life, to know Jesus experientially in His Kingdom within you. This is the beginning of life in the eternal realm of Jesus’s predestined place for all He created.
Jesus hatched the Father’s idea of making disciples in order to begin the restoration of all things. We lost the idea by the end of the first century but have reclaimed it for our generation. Jesus is preparing another day of Pentecost. Weather it happens in a month or a decade doesn’t matter to the one whose soul is made one with the Living Christ in His Kingdom's realm within. To find such a union is to find the timeless place of oneness with the everlasting Prince of Peace!
