Understanding How To Seek First The Kingdom
An excerpt from my upcoming book "Understanding How To Seek First The Kingdom; Reestablishing The Apostolic Church
Jesus came to earth with the blueprints of Heaven. He received them from our Father and implemented them through ministry. Jesus’ ministry was and is a model for His church to present the nations to the Father. Jesus gathered disciples and began teaching them from His mind. To the disciples that remained with Him Jesus began growing the renewed mind. By speaking to them from His mind He imparted the patterns of His mind into their renewed mind and began growing His mind patterns of Kingdom’s consciousness into His disciples. Once the renewed mind grew to sufficient levels the disciples were awakened in the realm of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. This "born from above" experience brought them one step closer to working with Jesus on earth but from His Kingdom's realm.
After Jesus was resurrected He came back to earth to pass on His ministry. He chose to pass this most precious of ministries to His disciples. He gathered the disciples He was getting ready to appoint and commission as His apostles and spoke to them for 40 days about the substance that added to their renewed mind’s consciousness- “things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.” (Acts 1:3a) He then told these soon to be “sent one’s from His realm” to gather disciples into one place and wait for Heaven to open. “Once Heaven opens,” Jesus would say, “My church will be born on earth but be living and functioning from the realm of My Kingdom's influence. When this happens I will have an extension of My realm upon earth where I can activate our Father’s Kingdom mandate to be fruitful and multiply the Garden realm of My Kingdom by subduing the earth one city at a time."
Once Jesus birthed His chuch from the consciousness of His Kingdom (Acts 2:1-4) He commissioned the apostles to enter cities, gather disciples, impart their renewed mind patterns into the disciples until they awaken through enlightenment to the eyes of their understanding. All the while waiting for a unity of mind to form within its members sufficient to hold an open Heaven upon the land. In the meantime the disciples were to engage in things pertaining to the church of Jesus; life in the Kingdom realm, growing together in love and fellowship, caring for one another as needs arise, and praying.
“They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
